Nosy Crow Pip and Posy: The Bedtime Frog

Pip and Posy are best friends; they love to play, do things, and have fun. But sometimes they get angry or upset, and sometimes things go wrong that are beyond their control. That's when kindness, understanding, and a hug make everything better.

In the story "The Bedtime Frog," Posy goes to Pip's house for a slumber party. The friends have a lot of fun together before bedtime. But just as they're about to turn off the light, disaster strikes – Posy realizes she's forgotten her favorite frog toy. Wanting to help her distraught friend, Pip offers Posy various toys she can use in place of her frog, even her own favorite frog piggy bank. But none of them work – Posy cries, "This is the wrong frog!" Only when Pip gives Posy her favorite pig toy does Posy relax, and finally the friends can enjoy a good night's sleep.
