The Arctic wolf lives in the Canadian Arctic islands and northern Greenland.
It's so cold there that the ground doesn't thaw even in 'summer.
' But the low temperatures aren't the only challenge for the wolf.
It has to travel up to 30 km a day to find its prey.
It can sometimes go weeks without food, especially during the winter months when it's dark for 4-5 months.
But its habitat also gives it an advantage: This far north, humans are unlikely to hunt it.
